At Mantra Frangipani, we are proud to support sustainability and our local Broome community through a range of impactful initiatives. From environmental conservation to community collaboration, we are committed to protecting our unique Kimberley environment and fostering meaningful connections.
We are delighted to share our ongoing commitment to reducing single-use plastics in our guest rooms. As part of this initiative, we have made a significant decision to eliminate single-use dry amenities such as toothbrushes, combs, and shower caps from our guest rooms, in order to reduce our environmental footprint. Instead, guests can request dry amenities by calling room service or visiting our friendly team at reception.
As part of our ongoing efforts, we have made the proactive decision to move to large format amenities, replacing our single-use plastic common amenities with eco-friendly pump dispensers throughout the hotel. By eliminating single-use plastic bottles, we are significantly reducing the amount of waste generated by our operations. This commitment aligns with our dedication to environmental stewardship and reflects our ongoing efforts to improve sustainability in all aspects of our hotel.
The Mantra Frangipani team acknowledges the ongoing connection to country of the traditional custodians of this beautiful region, the Yawuru people of Rabbi. We pay our respect to the First Australians, and their Elders past, present and emerging. The Yawuru people are the traditional owners of the lands and waters in and around Rubibi (the town of Broome) and have always shared their stories and culture with visitors to this country.
Our General Manager volunteers with Parks and Wildlife as part of the Cable Beach Turtle Monitoring Program. Each morning at sunrise, she joins a dedicated team walking the length of Cable Beach to identify new flatback turtle tracks and flag nesting sites. Through this program, she raises awareness among staff and guests at Mantra Frangipani by providing regular updates on turtle nesting activity.

We proudly feature and sell locally crafted products in our gift shop, helping to showcase Broome’s creative talents while supporting the local economy.
